 Description:
This is a Non-Smoking Apartment

Casa Armandina is a gorgeously appointed, bright and neat, renovated one bedroom stone cottage with large terrazza overlooking the medieval borgo in Santa Fiora, with views over the roofs and hills toward the mysterious Monte Labbro. The entrance to the cottage is via the terrazza, and guests are immediately followed in by light, greeted by wood and stone, and a freshly modern feel, that has retained its Tuscan soul. Heading up the short flight of wooden stairs you’ll find the light and airy double bedroom appointed with antique furniture, extra bedding, and a spacious bathroom and shower next door. Downstairs awaits the fully equipped galley kitchen with gas stove top, electric over, fridge and dishwasher, coffee machine and adjoining breakfast room with serving window.

The combined lounge and dining room has a large flat screen TV, a bookcase and two comfy sofas.  Both rooms on the ground floor open out to the terrazza, letting the outdoors in and filling the rooms with golden Tuscan light.

Situated just a short walk to the medieval fishpond, La Peschiera, and Piazza Garibaldi the heart of the village, where you’ll find the town hall, restaurants, bars, shops and museum, Casa Armandina’s location is sought after for its tranquility. A veritable cosy get-away nestled in a quiet medieval village avenue with access to centuries of culture and history.
For the cooler months, the house is kept toasty warm with oil heaters. Included in the price are towels, sheets and bedding, hand soap, dishwashing detergent and basic provisions such as tea, sugar, spices and olive oil.

A free private parking space is available.

We are confident this combination of charming apartment in a traditional Tuscan village, coupled with your own local driver, will guarantee you a relaxing and rewarding experience.

For the ‘Accommodation’ part of the package we have two apartments, Casa Maria and Casa Marzia, situated in a palazzo in the village center of Santa Fiora. Each apartment sleeps 4 people and can be rented separately or together for a larger party. Each apartment, if rented separately, comes with a driver and an eight-passenger van. The rental package requires a one-week minimum stay and runs from Saturday to Saturday.

The ‘Driving’ part of the package includes arrival ‘transfer’ (car service) on Saturday from a nearby airport (Florence, Pisa or Rome) or train station (Grosseto, Florence, Pisa, Rome, etc.) and departure ‘transfer’ (car service) the following Saturday to a nearby airport (Florence, Pisa, Rome) or train station (Grosseto, Florence, Pisa, Rome, etc.). In addition to your arrival and departure ‘transfers’ the driving package includes five days of access to your driver and van for 10 hours a day (Sunday – Friday). The driving time can be extended beyond 10 hours a day, at a charge of 50 € per hour. *Note, transfers outside of these areas, such a Milan or Venice, would be extra.

There is much to see and do in beautiful Tuscany! Your driver can  bring you to vineyards and gastronomic tours in towns such as Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pienza, and the immediate Monte Amiata region. Firenze (Florence), San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Siena and the Chianti region can all be easily reached as day trips within the 10 hour time frame. The Mediterranean coast and towns such as Talamone, Porto Santo Stefano and Monte Argentario are just one hour away. Boat cruises with lunch aboard the boat or in one of the lovely bays can be organised, as can Vespa tours, etc. Depending on the time and place of your arrival and departure, a visit to Rome can be arranged (Rome is a 5 hour round trip from Santa Fiora).
