This three-bedroom, two-bathroom duplex apartment is situated in the heart of historical Old Nice (Vieux Nice, Vieille Ville), near the Coulee Verte (city garden of Nice) and the beach. This two level roof top apartment (80m2 in size) on the top floor (with elevator) of a traditional building, will immediately charm you!
The apartment’s pleasant living room has a three-meter-long balcony offering lovely views of ‘Old Nice’ – the perfect setting to enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon glass of Rosé while admiring Nice’s Coulee Verte. It’s the perfect setting to breathe-in the Cote d'Azur’s magical air … scented with eucalyptus, orange blossom, rosemary and salt air from the sea!
Adjoining the living room is a small but well-equipped marble kitchen with ample cookware, dishware and glassware. The kitchen has all the modern appliances including a dishwasher, microwave … and even a Nespresso coffee machine! This Air Conditioned apartment also has Cable TV, WiFi, a washing machine, iron and vacuum.
The apartment sleeps five people in two bedrooms. There is a Queen-size bed in the quiet bedroom on the main floor at the rear of the apartment. Upstairs, is a bedroom with two single beds and a ensuite bathroom. Also, upstairs is a small 3rd bedroom with a double bed. There is a full bathroom on the main floor with a walk-in shower and a full bathroom on the 2nd floor with a large bath tub and hand-held -shower. One of the windows even offers a small view (a peek) of the sea! There is also a fourth room, which can be used as closet to store your luggage or a place for a baby cot, etc.
Just outside the apartment are many grocery stores, specialty food shops, and restaurants. Also nearby are the famous restaurants L'Escalinada and Cafe' Turin offering the best seafood in Nice! The park, just 10 meters from the apartment is home to exotic plants, luscious flowers, a huge playground made entirely from wood and choreographic water games. The fish market, the artists' ateliers, the boutiques, Galeries Lafayette, Cours Saleya's old flower market … and the Mediterranean Sea with its light blue color, are all within an easy walk.
The apartment is a short walk from the famous Promenade des Anglais and Quai des Etats-Unis. There is a tram stop, Cathedrale Vielle Ville. next to the apartment building. A nearby Metro stop connects directly to the Nice Cote d'Azur airport. If you arrive by plane, the closest navette (shuttle bus) stop is Cathedrale Vielle Ville or Place Garibaldi. If you come by car there is a public garage just across the street.
