The District
Walk along the Champs Elysées, stop and climb to the top of the Arch of Triumph and from there you can marvel at the beauty of the Champs Elysées, with the Place de la Concorde on one side, and Paris' business centre, La Défense, on the other.
Turning right from the Champs Elysées you soon will see the Eiffel Tower, another high vantage point on a clear day. If you feel like having the dinner of a lifetime make a reservation (a must) at the Jules Vernes restaurant in the Eiffel Tower - even French people go there for special occasions.
From the apartment you can quickly reach Place de La Concorde, all the museums and the Avenue Montaigne where you can visit the best designer shops - Dior, YSL, Ungaro, Lancel, Estrada, Todd's, Cartier, Hermes and so on. Subways, buses, or taxis, are close by but walking is recommended as the most enjoyable to see this part of Paris.
