This is a Non-Smoking Apartment.
Living in this rue de Luynes Apartment is an experience. This Apartment is a perfect example of the French "Art de Vivre" of people with taste, aristocratic (like its owner), where everything is in place, like in a nice painting. . The atmosphere of this Apartment is smooth, one does not feel like living in a "Museum". However, this Apartment can only be rented to very careful Guests.
THE AREA
This is the best part of the St Germain area, where fashion meets power, where Art is everywhere. Rue de Luynes is right behind Rue du Bac, and Rue du Bac is the border between 6th & 7th districts. On one side, the 6th is St Germain , with its designer clothes, art galleries, furniture shops, and the great shopping street called rue de Buci, which looks like a permanent open air market. On the other side, the 7th is the quiet district where most CEO's and Members of the Establishment have their homes. Mansions of the ministers, the Residence of the Prime Minister, the National Assembly, are on this side of Paris. D'Orsay & Louvre Museums are only a few minutes walk from there. Rue du Bac is also a great street for food shopping. This Apartment is only a few blocks from Le Bon Marché, the best Department Store in Paris. Wealthy Parisians like to shop for delicate foods at La Grande Epicerie, on the Ground Floor of Le Bon Marché. Metro station is RUE DU BAC (only one block away).
