This 18th-century Mas is located just off a quiet village lane in Maillane. The village bakery, cafés and grocery are just steps away. Three miles to the south is the town of St Remy de Provence, with its old Roman monuments, restaurants, cafés, and a bustling weekly open-air market.
The house has a stone facade with light gray shutters. The enclosed grounds include a swimming pool and natural garden with lawn, tall shade trees and a vine-covered terrace with wrought iron dining table and chairs.
Inside, the two-story house has been beautifully renovated and features high beamed ceilings and doorways, terra cotta floors, exposed stone and white walls. The charming decor includes a combination of contemporary furnishings accented by many wood antique pieces, richly-colored carpets and original works of art.
To the right of the entry is an inviting living room with two upholstered sofas grouped around a glass-topped wrought iron coffee table in front of the stone fireplace. A beamed doorway opens to an adjoining salon with two upholstered chairs set near the widescreen television.
There is a spacious and fully equipped kitchen. Next to the kitchen is a breakfast room with round wood table and chairs. A large glass door opens to the terrace. And there are large windows in both the living room and dining room that overlook the grounds.
On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bathrooms have been renovated to a very high standard. The bedrooms include one with a queen bed, one with double and one with twins. Side by side on the hall are the bathrooms: one with tub and hand-held shower attachment and sink, the other with large shower, sink and toilet. There are additional toilet facilities downstairs on the entry.
