This is an ideally-located flat in the beautiful heart of old Antibes. You’re in an aerie overlooking the rooftops of one of the Côte d’Azur’s most fabled cities, on a cobbled pedestrian street lined with local boutiques and just steps from the town’s Provençal market which bursts daily with fresh foods, locally-prepared specialities, and delicacies from all over France.

The flat is furnished in a relaxed and cozy style, with beautiful beamed ceilings, cool whitewashed walls and art from local artists throughout.

The sejour, or main room, is a large open space, with two balconies opening over Rue Sade, comfortable seating arranged around a wood-burning fireplace, and a dining area accommodating up to 10 guests. An American-style kitchen opens on to the room, lavishly equipped with everything you’ll require from a cappuccino machine to fine dining accoutrements.

Accommodating up to 7 guests comfortably, this is an ideal rental opportunity for several couples travelling together. There are two large bedrooms, each with a private en-suite bathroom, ample closets, and comfortable large beds. The front bedroom has a double-door balcony high above the street, and the back bedroom overlooks a quiet courtyard bursting with orange trees. There’s also a cozy den with a television fully equipped with DVD player and cable television reception; a sofabed in the den sleeps one. If you require more sleeping arrangements, the wrap-around sofa in the front room converts to a comfortable double bed as well.

Included in your rental is access to the telephone for free local calls and calling card numbers. There’s wireless broadband as well, which you are welcome to use free of charge if you bring your laptop computer. The flat even has its own washing machine.

The town of Antibes is one of the jewels of the Riviera, situated on one of the Mediterranean’s finest harbours. The old town teems with terrific local restaurants, shopping for everything from locally-grown foodstuffs to the finest fashions, and wonderful cafés and bars. There’s a cinema, a theatre which sponsors performances in English as well as other languages, and world-class museums and galleries.

You can walk to the local beaches, or go a bit further to the glamorous swimming spots along the Cap d’Antibes. In Winter, skiing in the Alps is less than two hours’ drive away. And yachting and boating make up a main part of the Antibes charm; its marina is the best on the Riviera.

You’re a 20 minute drive from the Nice-Côte d’Azur Airport. Less than half an hour’s drive from the front door is Cannes, the glamorous film capital of France, as well as Nice, with its wonderful shopping and beaches. 45 minutes away is the famous hilltop village St. Paul de Vence, Monte Carlo with its casinos and high living population, Cap Ferrat, also known as Millionaires Row, and Grasse, famous for perfumes. Italy is 60 minutes away, Provence an hour and a half.
