Rate and Currency:
For your convenience, apartment rates are always converted to U.S. dollars. However, rates are subject to change in the event of currency fluctuations or changes in tariffs. Service charges, taxes and other charges as specified in the property description and on your confirmation form, are included in the rental price. Service charges do not cover the porterage of baggage, cloak rooms, or exceptional services for which the guest may feel that a separate gratuity is merited.
Occupancy:
Occupancy is limited to the maximum number stated on the guest booking form. Under no circumstances may this number be exceeded, including babies and overnight guests. No property may be used for business purposes of any kind, without prior agreement in writing from the property management.
Complimentary Inclusion's:
Initial bed linen is provided including one hand towel and 1 bath towel per person, when specified as supplied in the property description. Extra linen is available upon request locally for a supplemental fee of 75 ffr.
Arrival / Departure Time:
Unless previously agreed upon prior to your arrival in Paris, arrival time is between 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. local time Paris on the first day of rental. Departure time is by 10:00 a.m. on the final day of rental. It is often possible to accommodate earlier arrivals and later departures with sufficient advance notice. It is usually possible to leave your luggage at the apartment until the apartment is ready for occupancy. Please note no Sunday arrivals accepted.
Incidental Charges:
Are expected to paid in advance where practical except when they are calculated by meter readings and cannot reasonably be determined until the conclusion of the rental. Electricity will be billed at the rate of 1ffr per kilowatt-hour. Gas is billed at 2 ffr per cubic meter. Telephone charges are 100 ffr per week for a local line. It is recommended that long distance telephone calls be made collect or thorough the use of your calling card. Some apartments have an open-ended (non-restricted) telephone line. To rent these units will require an additional telephone deposit from which long distance charges will be deducted, with the balance to be returned to the guest within 10 weeks of the departure from the property. At some locations where there is no telephone in operation, arrangements can be made for a telephone at an additional charge. An extra folding bed is available for a supplemental fee of 350 ffr, including linen. A child's folding crib is available for 350 ffr, including linen. A fax machine is available for 150 ffr per week with a delivery charge of 100 ffr. Baby sitting, when available, generally costs 45-50 ffrs per hour. House cleaning is available on the same basis, generally at 55-60 ffr per hour. GPA insurance, for those not already covered by personal liability insurance is available from 181-338 ffr for stays of up to one month based on the number of rooms in the particular apartment. Exact quotations will be given once the apartment is confirmed to the guest.
Reservation & Payment:
Panache has an International Booking & Handling Fee of $100.00. A reservation deposit of approximately 60% will be due Panache at the time of booking. Payments must be received by Panache in the form of a personal check, cashiers check or money order at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be received by Panache no later than 70 days prior to the occupancy of the unit along with a separate security deposit check. There is a Rush Fee of $50.00 for bookings with less than 15 days advance notice. There is an Adjustment Fee of $25.00 for changes made to existing reservations.
Security Deposit:
A security deposit check for approximately 75% of the rental cost will be due at the panache office at the time of final payment. This security deposit will be returned to you within 10 weeks less any extras or damages.
Cancellations:
If you should need to cancel your reservation, please contact Panache immediately. The cancellation policy is as follows: Cancellation made more than 56 days before start of rental forfeits the reservation deposit, cancellation made less than 56 days before start of rental forfeits 100% of rental costs. It is strongly recommended that trip cancellation insurance be acquired. Panache is happy to recommend an insurance carrier.
Customer Dissatisfaction:
If you find your accommodations to be other than as represented, the local contact person will make best efforts to remedy the problem, and in extreme situations will attempt to move you to another apartment if available. If, at any time the apartment becomes unavailable or unfit for habitation the property management will endeavor to find you another property. In the event a substitute property is found which rents at a higher rate than the property originally booked you may be asked to pay the difference. If this is not possible, or is unacceptable to you, all monies received by the property management will be refunded to you as full and final settlement of any claims you may have. While we will do everything possible to accommodate your needs, we're not responsible for situations and conditions which are beyond our control such as: bad weather; airline delays; labor strikes; or the failure of a previous guest to vacate the premises.
Pets:
Animals are not allowed unless by prior written agreement.
Nuisances:
The property management reserves the right to terminate a rental immediately without compensation where a tenant causes nuisance of whatever nature to neighbors or the property.
Liabilities / Insurance:
You may be liable for damage you cause to the property, its fixtures and furnishings, during your stay. If you are not already covered by personal liability insurance the property management company can offer you such coverage, which covers major events such as fire/flood, etc.
Complaints:
The property management will make every effort to ensure speedy repairs, and cannot be held responsible for any loss or inconvenience resulting from technical problems with the property, its equipment or facilities. While Panache does everything possible to ensure the highest level of accommodations, unfortunate problems can arise. Any problems must be reported immediately to your local Paris apartment manager so that they may remedy the situation. Panache cannot be help responsible for any problems, which go unreported, or which are reported after the stay is complete.
Cleanliness:
All apartments are professionally cleaned before your arrival. Please leave the property neat and clean as you found it.
