Panache Terms and Conditions

Rate Information:

Panache has an International Booking & Handling Fee of $100.00 for a party's first reservation made with Panache. This is a onetime cost which is always waived, ad infinitum, for all of repeat guests reserving any of Panache's European properties.

 

Apartment prices are quoted in US Dollars.


Terms and Conditions

'S' Index Properties

We offer apartments which have been selected for their excellent situation in the heart of Paris and mainly in the two islands : the Ile Saint Louis and the Ile de la Cité. The apartments are furnished, equipped and decorated in different styles. They all have : a kitchen or kitchenette equipped with crockery, a private shower or bathroom and W.C. We provide the linen : sheets, towels, dishcloths and table cloth for which we ensure the weekly change. All apartments have television ( some with the cable) and a telephone. Fax and answering machines can be hired.

PRICES :

The minimum stay is one week. Beyond that is up to you. All our prices are net and include accommodation, linen, payment for : water, electricity, heating, telephone rental and VAT as well as agreed services. Prices are quoted for a fixed number of people. Some apartments are equipped with a bed-settee, we charge a supplement if it is used. On no account is it possible to accommodate more people than stated in the contract. Any additional service or change in the contract will be charged extra. Consult us for the additional services that we can provide and their cost. If for personal reason and in agreement with us, the client changes apartment, a fixed sum of 450F for the incurred expenses will be charged in addition to the rental difference.

ARRIVALS/DEPARTURES :

You are free to choose your date of arrival and we can welcome you any day of the week. The time of arrival in the apartment is fixed in working days between 9AM and 6PM. Departure will be in the morning between 9am and 10am. However, if the apartment is available and upon agreement it can be possible to change the arrival and departure time. In working days the meeting point can take place at the apartment providing an appointment has been taken.

SECURITY DEPOSIT :

Upon signature of the contract, a deposit will be requested to compensate for any damage that could occur in the apartment ; it will be returned (except in the case we have not received the telephone bills for some apartments) no later than 2 weeks after your departure, upon return of the keys and after we have checked the state of the apartment. We hold at your disposal in each apartment a file to help you become acquainted with the premises and the area. The files include:

- an inventory of furniture and equipment
- brochures or instructions for use of the equipment
- practical information : useful telephone numbers, dustbins, keys, mail.

We make sure that the apartments are checked regularly, however some things can escape our attention. Therefore, we ask you to check the inventory and the functioning of the equipment within 24 hours following your arrival. If you notice a defect, please kindly inform us within the notice time and we will do our best to solve the problem as quickly as possible. After this 24 hour notice time, any broken or lost object that has not been pointed out to us or any equipment that is not in working order, will be considered your responsibility, and the replacement of missing objects, the repair or replacement of broken appliances will be at your charge.

INSURANCE :

Our insurance does not cover damage caused to the tenant nor to the people accompanying or visiting him. The tenant should therefore arrange appropriate insurance cover for himself, for the people accompanying him, for his personal effects and goods and against any possible damage that he may cause in the apartment IMPORTANT NOTE : In the case of loss of keys, you will be charged for a change of lock. We regret we cannot accept any domestic animals.

RESERVATION AND PAYMENT

The reservation is granted after payment on account of half of the amount of the rent. We do not accept any reservation without the payment of the account. The balance has to be paid 8 weeks before arrival day. The security deposit is due upon the handing over of the keys or to held by the agent.

CANCELLATION

Cancellation made less than 56 days before the start of rental forfeits 100% of the rental costs. It is strongly recommended that trip cancellation insurance be aquired.

EXTRA SERVICES

We can rent you fax, answering machine, baby crib. We propose you for transfer to the apartment limousine service with driver, and for your departure we can make the reservation for the same service or for a taxi.
