Neighborhood: Quartier Latin , rue Mouffetard . Extremely charming part of the old Latin Quarter, especially famous because of its most exciting Street Market on rue Mouffetard winding up to the Montagne Saint Geneviève , the Panthéon and Saint Etienne du Mont churches. Saint Genevieve, who saved Paris from the Hunts in 451was burried there and became the protector Saint of the city. On the close by rue Monge , Saint Médard church is another interesting monument to be visited. But the most attactive spot of the quarter is the famous "Manufacture" des Gobelins created by Louis XIVth, one block away from rue de Valence and very recently reopened to the public, showing some of the nicest tapestries ever made in France and mostly decorating the Castle of Versailles.

The whole area has a very young and lively student atmosphere, with hundreds of restaurants and bars open very late at night, and an incridibly variety of exotic food.

The building was built by 1900, and has a lift. the apartment which is on the 5th floor has 50m2 including a very modern living room with double sofa-bed, calbe T.V., high speed internet access (ADSL), free international telephone line and music.

The large glass table can accommodate up to 6 people. the beautiful reddish equipped kitchen has micro-wave, classical electric oven, 4 cooking ceramic hotplates, a dish washer, washer/dryer,fridge and freezer, coffee maker etc...

The master bedroom has a double bed and is very quiet overlooking a vast courtyard.

Then comes the bathroom with stall shower , modern sink and toilet.

The whole decor is sober and very modern, in the latest italian style.
