The Rue Pecquay is a narrow side street off the bustling Rue Rambuteau - pavement cafés, specialty food shops, restaurants all within minutes. Tempting boutiques of the Rue des Francs Bourgeois, the Place des Vosges are just a short stroll further, as are the Picasso Museum, the Musée Carnavalet, the Archives of Paris, the Pompidou Centre and much more! The Seine, the Ile St Louis and the Ile de la Cité (Notre Dame, the Conciergerie and the Sainte Chapelle) the flower and bird market, are also within easy reach by foot. The streets of the Marais are full of wonderful old buildings, secret courtyards and other architectural beauties. It is no wonder that this a favorite of both Parisians and tourists.

An especially recommended apartment (some 54m2) with lots of charm and character, combined with a good modern kitchen and bathroom. On the first floor* overlooking a delightful cobbled courtyard and quiet side street. . Sitting room with its low oak beams (watch your head!) is typical of the ancient buildings in this quartier. Spacious and carpeted with low windows (could be a danger to small children) overlooking street and the courtyard. Attractively furnished with some well chosen country antiques, dining furniture, comfortable chairs,, with dining area and a King size double bed piled with cushions at one end. TV. Separate eat-in Kitchen - good modern built-in cupboards, pretty tiles. Small Bedroom beyond kitchen with two single beds (can make wide double), view over courtyard, tiled floor. Also off the kitchen is Bathroom with bath, shower attachment, WC, and washing machine. Electric heating. Initial Linen included. Local line telephone.
