Just a 5 mn walk away from the stunning Centre Pompidou, gate to the Marais of Paris crosses the rue de Montmorency named after Anne de Montmorency, friend of
the king of France , François Ier de Valois . This street was probably designed during the Renaissance period. The whole neighborhood is full of Hotels Particuliers (Hotel de Salé, musée Picasso), and museums (Archives Nationales, Musée Carnavalet –History of Paris- , Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, musée Cognac Jay , Art et Histoire du Judaisme).
The nearby metro station is Rambuteau, and the place du Chatelet is another 10mn walk.

This 65m2 meter 2 bedroom apartment on the 1st (French) floor has just been refurbished in January 2008 in a very modern style . But it still shows its ancient wooden beams. The marble bathroom is perfect( bathtub with handheld shower and toilet, and if one bedroom has a double bed, the second one features twin beds. At night the street is very peaceful. But very « hip»clubs, restaurants and bars are at within reach . The kitchen is also perfectly equipped with dish washer,oven and microwave, washer/dryer, fridge and freezer, coffee maker , toaster etc…., and there are several convenient supermarkets in the vecinity.

It is an ideal spot from where to visit the wonderful city of Paris. The apartment is equipped with « Numéricable » high speed internet access, wi-fi, over 180 T.V. channels on the large flat screen T.V. set, and a free international telephone line. It also includes a « bureau » to install a computer, or a crib. Lots of closets.
