A great Left Bank location ! Between the Luxembourg Gardens (Luxembourg Palace) and the Jardins des Plantes (zoo, Natural History museums) and also within walking distance of the Ile de la Cité (Notre Dame, Conciergerie ..) and the Ile St Louis ! And when you have had enough sightseeing, take a stroll down the amazing Rue Mouffetard, renowned throughout Paris for its lively restaurants, cafés and wonderful pictureque daily street market ! Or just watch the world go by at one of the pavement cafés on the Place de la Contrescarpe. This is a " listed " area of particular architectural interest, delightful cobbled streets and alleys to explore, with many original medieval façades to admire.

The Boulevard St Michel, the Sorbonne, Panthéon, Musée de Cluny, Luxembourg Gardens, Jardin des Plantes, Roman Arènes de Lutèce are but some of the interesting place to visit within walking distance.
