ECOLE MILITAIRE” stands for “MILITARY SCHOOL” - a landmark building near by.

For lovers of Paris as well as art lovers it’s the place most recommended to stay in when visiting Paris.

Maria & Alain, the owners of this beautiful apartment are both theatre and movie actors who, simply as a hobby and love for art, collect paintings and furniture.
Their choice level is quite eclectic but in wonderful and grand taste. From one stay to another everything may look different because they are always exchanging or selling pieces to acquire another that seems, at least to them, to be more appealing in that moment’s mood.

Ecole Militaire is located in 7th District and you can see the Eiffel Tower from the living room.

The very warm wall colours are a reminder that Maria is a true Spanish lady by birth and descent.

You enter the foyer to be led to your left to the kitchen, in front to the bedroom and to the right to the dining/living room.

The apartment is ideal for a couple but an extra 1 to 2 guests or children could be accommodated on the sleeping sofa in the living room.

The bedroom faces nothing hence it’s a haven of peace and quiet by night. The living room faces the UNESCO building but being located so far away from it and blocked by tree tops it’s like having a large avenue in front of you. To your left stands the Eiffel Tower.

Located on the 5th floor of this building, the daylight is just beautiful and plentiful.

Located in the 7th District, you see the Eiffel Tower from your living room and the Ecole Militaire is across the street. The Invalides and Napoleon's Tomb are just down the street. Rue Cler, the current hot neighborhood district for Rick Steves enthusiasts is but a short walk. This is one of the best districts to stay in Paris.

The nearest subway stations are Cambronne and Segur. There are also bus stops and taxi stands very near by. The area has a lot of food shops that are open quite late at night, bakeries, restaurants and cafés abound.

It is a short walk to the “Place du Trocadéro”, where you will find the Museum of Modern Art, the Maritime Museum, as well as more great restaurants and cafés.

Stroll on the “Jardin du Champ de Mars” have a look at the “Peace Monument”.
