This wonderful little house is a heaven of peace set in an abundance of green foliage in the heart of Paris' charming Marais District. The apartment has a private terrace shaded by trees and wisteria looking onto one of the architectural treasures of the Marais; a 16th century renaissance façade of an elegant Hotel de Particulier (city palace). The loft building with the front facade all in glass dates from ca 1900. The apartment is part of a private property owned by a single family who use the apartment as a guest house. There is a private entrance to the court yard and the garden (used only by the family and their guests) located after the main court yard of the impressive 18th century “Hotel Particulier”.

An open staircase connects the apartment's three different floors. The ground floor is a very pleasant salon / living room with comfortable seating and a sleep sofa. Stairs lead up to the mezzanine area with a modern well equipped kitchen (electric cooking, microwave/oven combination). Adjacent to the kitchen is a nice dining area with a handsome table seating 6. Stairs lead to the top floor bedroom suite outfitted with a large bed and en suite bathroom.

Except for the bathroom which has a door that closes, the apartment's interior floor plan is open which gives a wonderful feeling of space. The total surface size of the apartment is about 470 square feet. Tastefully decorated with antiques and contemporary art (the owners are an artist and gallery owner) the apartment has a light and poetic feel to it.

The apartment has hi speed internet (Wifi), Cable TV and free telephone calls to the USA and many other countries. The owner's cleaning lady is available to do laundry; washed and ironed the next day.

The apartment is superbly located in the centre of the Marais District near the Picasso, Carnavalet, Jewish History, and Cognacq-Jay museum as well as the gardens of the beautiful Place des Vosges park. The area is bustling with markets, café’s, restaurants and boutiques which are open 7 days a week.
