and quiet. Although Marais-Rue Chapon has but one bedroom, it has two sofa beds that allow it to accomodate 4 to 5 guests. This apartment is in the heart of Paris. All of the major attractions are but a short distance away. The Marais-Rue Chapon apartment conists of a large living/dining area and has a fully equipped kitchen. A bedroom and full bath with shower are off the living room. Separate dining facilities in the form of a breakfast bar are located in the kitchen area with a full dining table in the main room. Within easy walking distance are many fine restaurants, cafes and shops. Parisian markets are nearby. Located in the Marais district, the apartment is close to major attractions including Notre Dame, the Pompidiou Center, high-end Paris shopping and the major museums. The apartment has two sofa beds and one bedroom that allow it to accomodate 4 to 5 guests. Queen size bed brand new cotton sheets, bath towels, etc. Glasses, dishes, silverware, cups, pots, pans, frying pans, etc. The phone is open to receive any type of calls or to call locally, in the event you need to call long distance you’ll need a prepaid phone card that can be bought all around Paris in places called Bar Tabac, they can be recognised with the red conic logo hanging outside. Linens Furnished, Bath Towels Furnished. The apartment is in the 3rd Arrondissement just a short walk from the heart of the Marais District. The Marais is the oldest and most historical area in Paris. A place of aristocratic residence in the XVII century, it was abandoned during the Revolution and became an architectural wasteland. The Marais was not touched by Baron Haussman in his 1830's effort to make Paris the most modern city in IXXth century Europe. The Marais retains its pre IXXth Century splendorr. In 1962 it was declared a historical monument and the resurrection began in earnest. The area is once again fashionable with many galleries and restaurants, fashion boutiques and cultural centers. The main streets and narrow passageways are bustling with activity. Nearby are Pompidou/Beaubourg Museum, the Picasso Museum, the Louvre Museum, the Place des Vosges. Both train stations Gare du Nord et Gare de l’Est are near by. Orly’s and Charles de Gaulle’s Airports are easily reachable by taxi or a private limousine services. The last suggestion will be for you to go to spend a day or two in Deauville in the Normandy region. Train schedules are plentiful unless you rather drive there in less than 2 hours? The nearest subway stops are Rambuteau or Hotel de Ville. Taxi can be called for a pick-up right at your building, or you can get one very easily by the Pompidou Museum.
